How to protect that new canoe

I recently asked that question on the AA forums and as is always the case, the members delivered with some great information on a couple of products.

  1. 303 Aerospace Protectant- This protects the gel coat from damaging UV rays.
  2. Nu Finish Polish- This is a "no buff" car wax, but was recommended to keep that "showroom shine"
In Canada, both products are available at Canadian Tire.

yeah well then it won't wear out and get old and you will have a harder time justifying buying the next best and greatest canoe in a few years ;)

Spoken like a man that is trying to justify a new bike for himself?

finishin on a bike frame ain't usually what deems replacement - unless ya riding carpet/carbon fiber.

no thermoplastic to break down in the UV. Aluminum and Steel seem reasonably impervious to the sun (fortunately)...
