How to protect that new canoe
I recently asked that question on the AA forums and as is always the case, the members delivered with some great information on a couple of products.
- 303 Aerospace Protectant- This protects the gel coat from damaging UV rays.
- Nu Finish Polish- This is a "no buff" car wax, but was recommended to keep that "showroom shine"

yeah well then it won't wear out and get old and you will have a harder time justifying buying the next best and greatest canoe in a few years ;)
Spoken like a man that is trying to justify a new bike for himself?
finishin on a bike frame ain't usually what deems replacement - unless ya riding carpet/carbon fiber.
no thermoplastic to break down in the UV. Aluminum and Steel seem reasonably impervious to the sun (fortunately)...
